Play for Tubman — the campaign for a new Tubman playground!
We are thrilled to launch Play for Tubman, a campaign to raise funds to build a brand-new playground for our school!
The campaign goal is to transform our playground into a safe, modern, and inclusive space where every child can learn, explore, and thrive. Our vision is a playground designed for all students in our community that encourages physical activity, creativity, and connection while reflecting the diversity that makes Tubman so special.
Together, we’re raising $1,000,000 to transform the space into a vibrant, inclusive playground for kids of all ages.

TOGETHER we raised $94,037 for Tubman!
WOW! With CPS budgets continuing to be cut, we set an ambitious fundraising goal of $30,000 for our annual I Tubman Pledge Drive and together we raised more than three times that amount -- $94,037!

This is a special time where we show our for Tubman. Over the past three weeks, we've witnessed the incredible strength and unwavering support of our community. This effort is a powerful testament to what we can achieve together, and it represents not just what we've accomplished, but the limitless potential of this remarkable school.
And shared how much we all Tubman
Our students submitted over 150 hearts filled with the MANY reasons that they Tubman.
Most of all, and not surprisingly, our students shared their love for our teachers and staff! They wrote messages and drew pictures about our community, their friends, the new gym floor, Popcorn Fridays, their feelings of support and safety at Tubman, sports teams, performances, the library, our food service team, diversity, classrooms, recess and so much more! And these are the many things your donations make possible for all of our students.
We have displayed a selection of the hearts on a banner in the hallway and invite you to bask in our students' love.
19th Tubman Annual Fun Run
🎉 WE 🎉 DID 🎉 IT🎉
We set an aggressive goal to raise $60,000 during our 19th Annual Tubman Fun Run, and have 80% of students registered.
We are thrilled to share that we CRUSHED both goals. 85% of students registered and we raised over $62,000! These crucial funds will help Tubman bridge CPS budget shortfalls in the areas of curriculum, staffing and technology. An ENORMOUS thank you to our students, teachers, staff, families, community, sponsors and more for your support!
Since we met our registration goal, every student will receive a FREE 30-game Chuck E. Cheese wristband which will be sent home in the coming weeks!
