A Note from the Friends of Tubman Board
We’ve all chosen to send our students to Tubman for many reasons, be it the gifted and dedicated staff; the commitment to providing a nurturing, challenging, and authentic learning environment; our diverse community; the strong arts programs; our welcoming and supportive community; or many more.
The Chicago Public Schools annual budget provides funding to operate our school at only the bare minimum, which is well below the standard we expect for our students. The current school budget eliminated staff positions we know are critical for our students' learning. To bridge the growing gap, we rely on the generous support of our community of parents and caregivers.
Your financial support continues to enrich our school in many ways:

Our goal is to raise $30,000. With dollars given this year, we hope to help maintain the staffing that our students need and deserve, undertake additional facility improvements, build on the success of new programs and much more! We ask that you give to Tubman today by making either:

Donations may be tax-deductible, Friends of Tubman is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization and 100% of the funds raised by FOT goes to Tubman. And please inquire whether your employer has a matching gift program.

19th Tubman Annual Fun Run
🎉 WE 🎉 DID 🎉 IT🎉
We set an aggressive goal to raise $60,000 during our 19th Annual Tubman Fun Run, and have 80% of students registered.
We are thrilled to share that we CRUSHED both goals. 85% of students registered and we raised over $62,000! These crucial funds will help Tubman bridge CPS budget shortfalls in the areas of curriculum, staffing and technology. An ENORMOUS thank you to our students, teachers, staff, families, community, sponsors and more for your support!
Since we met our registration goal, every student will receive a FREE 30-game Chuck E. Cheese wristband which will be sent home in the coming weeks!
