Play for Tubman — the campaign for a new Tubman playground!
Last year we officially launched Play for Tubman, a campaign to raise funds to build a brand-new playground for our school.
We are thrilled to announce that thanks to our generous donors, grant funding secured by State Senator Sara Feigenholtz, State Representative Ann Williams and Alderman Bennett Lawson, as well as support from CPS, the dream of this new playground will become a reality.
We are initiating the design process and are planning for phased construction over the next two summers. The goal is to start the 2028 school year with a new, safe, modern and inclusive play space for our students and community.
